Naaman, a proud Syrian warrior, almost loses his chance at healing from leprosy due to his ego. The prophet told him to bath in the Jordan river 7 times and he would be healed. He was angry but his soldiers intervened and only after humbling himself does he find the restoration he seeks, reminding us of the power of humility.
Haman and Mordecai
In this tale of deception and retribution, Haman was advised to build a gallows to hang a man he despised because he would not bow down to him. Haman’s plot to destroy Mordecai backfires in an ironic twist. The plot that was meant to bring harm ultimately brings justice.
